Welcome to Fjordturar!
Fjordturar (Fjord Trips) is located in Eidsdal, in the inner parts of
the fjord Storfjorden in the Sunnmøre area on the north-western coast of Norway. We offer fjord
experiences that are based on your wish and taste.
The boat we are using is 40 feet long, and has a capacity of 12 passengers. It has got a top speed
of 20 knots (about 40 km/h). The possibilities with such a boat are many,
and we focus on the fact
that you should decide what the trip shall bring. The boat can be used for most purposes, e.g.
passenger transport, sightseeing and fishing. The boat was built with handicapped people in mind, and has got a 90 cm wide entrance door on the right. The boat can access areas in the fjord that are normally unreachable for ordinary boats, which makes it very suitable as a starting- or ending point for e.g. mountain hiking.
We offer fjord cruises from Eidsdal to Geiranger, or from Geiranger to Eidsdal. This trip takes about 3 hours and 30 minutes. Onboard we can serve you dishes of shrimp and/or local ham, and we also have a licence to serve beer and wine. If you wish we can even offer a troubadour to entertain you! Fjordturar cooperates with Geiranger Taxi, which in relation to our fjord cruises can offer a maxi-taxi from Geiranger to Eidsdal or from Eidsdal to Geiranger for NKR 70,- per person. Fjordturar samarbeider med Geiranger Taxi, som i samband med våre fjordcruise tilby maxi-taxi frå Geiranger til Eidsdal eller frå Eidsdal til Geiranger for kr. 70,- per person. Concrete price offers will be given on request, as this depends on destination, length of the tour, and transportation- and waiting time.
The fjord Storfjorden is full of exciting places to visit, and Fjordturar can offer a myriad of
opportunities to experience the great nature surrounding it. One popular offer is to use the fjord
for transportation as a start for a trip in the mountains. To use the nature is a sought after
experience in this area, witnessed by the listing of the area on UNESCOs World Heritage List.
